Keep your SG device performing at its best and protect your warranty by following these guidelines.
Cleaning & disinfection
- Wipe surfaces with a soft cloth lightly dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
- Do not immerse the device or hold under running water.
- Let it dry fully before storing or reuse.
Battery & power
- Use the recommended battery type only (e.g. 2 × C for the LED Nano).
- Remove batteries if storing for long periods to avoid leakage.
- Recharge rechargeable handles fully before first use.
Storage & handling
- Store in the supplied pouch or case, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Avoid dropping. Impacts can damage optics and the lamp.
- Keep the lens cover on when not in use.
Lamp / bulb replacement
- Switch off and allow the lamp to cool before replacing.
- Use only genuine SG replacement lamps.
- Follow the IFU for the correct bayonet/screw fitting.
Verify your product is genuine
Every SG Manufacturers device carries a unique serial number and a tamper-evident holographic label. Confirm yours is authentic below.
Genuine markers to check on the box and device: an intact holographic SG® seal, a serial that matches this label, sharp printing, and the SG® logo engraving. If anything looks off, contact us before use.

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear of consumables such as lamps and batteries.
Check the batteries are fresh and inserted the right way, ensure the head is fully fitted, and confirm the dimmer isn't set to minimum. If it still fails, the lamp may need replacing, see the IFU.
Contact us at office@sgmanufacturers.com with your registered serial number and a description of the issue. Our team will guide you through service or replacement.
Genuine lamps, contact plates and accessories are available through your SG distributor. Using non-genuine parts may affect performance and void your warranty.
